Energetic Sunshine Coast trio The Unknowns are shaking up modern music with their driving beats, raw rock‘n’roll riffs and fresh punk attitude.
Having released the single track “Doin’ the Grind” on 1st August 2018 with an East Coast Tour across QLD and NSW, The Unknowns are bringing more of their unfeigned self-expression in their second official EP ‘Forever Slaving Always Craving’ – released 19 October 2018.
The closing track ‘I Wonder Why’ exemplifies the artfully dynamic way in which The Unknowns are able to adeptly orchestrate notes, rhythms and gritty vocals in a song empathising with a returned Vietnam veteran feeling misapprehended and resented: “His heart’s still on that bloody track”, “I wonder why, I sit and I cry”.

"Mom Stole Me Darts" is probably the best song on this release. But "I Feel Good" makes me smile on my way to work so it's an MVP because of the pure irony. szczur
These guys are just fucking great. What more needs to be said. They give me hope… they give me tremors… thank god they’re here. What else can I say? There you go. They make me happy. timothyaven
